Paint (Windows 7)
File Type
Staff Images must be JPGs. If the image is not a jpg then save it as one. File > Save as > change "Save as type" to jpg.
Crop
Staff images should be like a passport photo (head and shoulders). The cropped photo should be almost square (slightly longer height over width).
Save - go to File > Save
File Size
We don't want images that are large file sizes (ie. > 1Mb). Approx 100KB is enough.
Check the file size in Windows Explorer:
If it's too big use paint to resize the image:
Keep Percentage selected, Maintain aspect ratio and amend Horizontal. You may need to guess the adjustment. e.g. if the file is 1MB, try 20%. Vertical should match this number.
Save - go to File > Save. Check the file size again.
